That's how your near-misses become accepted answers, your misspellings start counting, and wrong guesses learn to explain themselves. You've made the game smarter than we ever could alone. 💛
• Leaderboards on every category. Finish any round — not just the daily — and a board shows exactly where your score lands, with player avatars and colours right beside each name.
• Play without an account, and keep everything. You can play, build a streak and rank on boards as a guest. Sign up whenever you like and every score, stat and streak carries straight over — nothing you played is lost.
• Themed starter decks. A new set of Recommended decks on the Custom page drops you into a ready-made theme — Bookworm, Globetrotter, Screen Junkie, Music Buff and more — including a rollable “Starts with…” wordplay deck that lands on any letter, weighted by how many answers it holds.
• See your spot before you claim it. Guests now get an end-of-game card with a mini-leaderboard — the player just above you, your score, and the one you'd bump down — so you can see exactly what an account gets you.
• Answer suggestions, now on names too. The type-ahead helper reaches actor, musician and celebrity categories — and it's farm-proof: its word pool is seeded with 110,000+ names so it can never just list a category's answers. On name categories it holds back until you're a few letters into the surname, so it helps you spell “Tennant” without handing you the answer.
• Daily streaks that follow you. Streaks now live on the server, so switching between phone and laptop can't reset them — and your current streak shows on your profile and next to your name on the leaderboard.
• The daily got theatrical. The daily challenge spins up on a slot-machine reveal (with a live letter roll for “starts with…” days), never repeats a theme two days running, and only ever draws from categories you can actually play.
• World records, done right. Beat a category's best and you hold its crown, shown on your profile — and the record you're chasing is always the top score among ranked players, so it matches the #1 you can see on the board.
• Full proper names everywhere. Answers now show their complete canonical name across every category — your word list reads “Ludwig van Beethoven,” even if you just typed the surname to score it.
• A new avatar + leaderboard polish. Player avatars and colours now sit beside every name on the boards, the theme filters are reorganised into a cleaner layout, and there's a new film-reel avatar for the pop-culture crowd.
• A far bigger, sharper answer bank. Through 29 rounds of combing your guesses, thousands of answers were added and cleaned: misspellings fold in as aliases, plausible-but-wrong guesses get a note explaining why (“that's an engineer, not a scientist”), and junk was weeded out. Plus the full Rolling Stones discography, 1,000+ sci-fi authors, and much deeper birds, poets, desserts, foods, names and dog breeds.
